No two networks are the same! This Network Automation training course teaches students to blend Python skillsets with Ansible through the lens of automating networks. Automation techniques for the most popular vendors (incl. Cisco, Juniper, Arista) will be subjects of study, however students may request examples from vendors within their own environments.
Class is a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on labs. Students are invited to share their own relevant Python and Ansible scripts with the instructor to ensure class subjects are as relevant as possible.
This course is designed to move students beyond Ansible Essentials, and joins Ansible with other DevOps skill sets, including: Python scripting, utilizing Ansible Galaxy, running automated solutions with Jenkins, syncing code with Git and GitHub, continuous integration, debugging / linting, and much more! The lessons are built around current concepts observed within enterprises using Ansible.
Class is a combination of live instructor demo and hands-on labs.
This includes the opportunity to earn a Jenkins Automation Server Essentials certification from Alta3 Research.
This course covers the fundamentals necessary to deploy and utilize Jenkins automation server. Jenkins enables users to immediately begin automating both their individual and collaborative workflows. Jenkins is a proven solution for a wide variety of tasks ranging from the helpful automation of scripts, such as Python and Ansible, to creating complex pipelines that govern the technical parts of not only Continuous Integration, but Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) as well.
This includes the opportunity to earn a GoLang certification from Alta3 Research.
Master the features of the Go Programming Language! Learn how to program using this open-source programming language, developed and supported by Google!. Hands-on Labs and environment reinforce skills.
Go is designed to be concise, clean, and efficient. It is easy to write programs that get the most out of multicore and networked machines. Go compiles quickly to machine code yet has the feel of a dynamically typed, interpreted language.
Be it system admins, network, cloud, or storage engineers, all lessons in our courseware are highly relevant for using Go to craft enterprise solutions.
This course covers the fundamentals necessary to utilize Git and GitLab for the management of software development life cycling using continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). At its core, GitLab offers a web-based Git repository manager featuring issue tracking, analytics, and a wiki. Within the suite includes tools to trigger builds, run tests, and deploy code with each commit or push. Builds can target Docker containers or Virtual Machines. GitLab’s ability to offer a DevOps platform in a single application makes it an attractive choice for enterprise users.
Ansible is a powerful IT automation engine used to accelerate DevOps initiatives. It’s an open-source tool that executes repetitive network and system admin tasks. Ansible is used to bring structure and consistency to system deployments, implementations, and changes.
Examples highlight Ansible’s latest current release capabilities, building complex playbooks, and developing workflow strategies all while observing best-practice techniques.
In this highly customizable class, Students are encouraged to share with the class the manual ways they are currently doing work in an effort to create highly applicable Ansible solutions. Through these demonstrations, students will learn how to use code to extend structure and consistency to their specific job operations.
